Since 2002, I have been involved in a wide range of projects utilizing my skills in print, interactive, motion, and user interface design, in addition to photography, editing, and DVD authoring.

1996 - 2002

ATOMIC FRIDGE - Founding Partner/Creative Director

Provided creative vision, management, and quality control across a wide variety of company projects including websites, games, CD-ROMs, kiosks, broadcast graphics, and video presentations.Directed graphic designers, web and technical developers, copywriters and art directors. Grew the team from 1 to 8 employees. Developed reorganization and growth plans for teams including information architects, programmers and marketing strategists

Conceptualized, developed and implemented creative strategies for various clients including educational companies, children's media outlets, advertising agencies, web and multimedia houses, film/TV production companies, and Fortune 100 companies

Managed $1M annual budget (including fulltime hires, contractors, interns and vendors)

Highlights

AMERICAN MUSEUM of NATURAL HISTORY : Produced online 'trading cards' for the American Museum of Natural History's "Ology" website, which won a 2002 Webby Award. Also for AMNH: designed and produced a kiosk teaching the basics of digital imaging for the "Mobile Museum" currently touring NYC schools. Turnaround for this project was 5 days from initial contact to delivery.

NICKELODEON : Directed production of 66 games for all Nickelodeon including - SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, The Wild Thornberrys. Conceived, produced, and designed "Trackball" basketball game.

SPACE.COM/NASA : Conceived and produced an educational game for Space.com and NASA that taught the basics of aerodynamics to kids. The game achieved the longest playtimes of any game or activity on Space.com

Created budgets and schedules for several youth-oriented TV shows, with production budgets up to $1.8 Million.

Designed websites for television shows produced by 4 Kids

Created and implemented various Windows network-based systems, including an international sales and contact database, barcode driven tape library system, and a talent database and contract management system.

Edited copy and layout of full-page ads for 4 Kids' television shows in national industry publications

Wrote contracts for employees, service providers, and international program sales

Negotiated deals with equipment and service providers, car rental companies, hotels, and airlines

NBC OLYMPICS UNIT, BARCELONA - BROADCAST MANAGER

Budgeted, scheduled, bid out, and managed a series of seven 1/2 hour magazine shows to advertise the Olympic Triplecast

Determined ground transportation and support staff needs

Traveled to Spain to scout locations and interview Runner and Logger candidates

Designed Barcelona office layout

Arrived early in Barcelona to deal with last-minute technical and logistical problems

Resolved day-to-day problems and conflicts of a staff of 150

Directly supervised seven Runners and ten Drivers
